A substantial 1" thick wood with 4.25" sides surround the picture. Safe plexiglass covers the picture which is held down by specially made spring clips for easy picture changes.

PLEASE NOTE: Frames are double painted, antiqued and purposefully distressed. Frame wood is thick and rustic, contains knots & slight imperfections (all intention to capture the rustic antique style). Due to antiquing the wood will continue to "age gracefully" to maintain an old yet modern feel. Rustic rough wood will vary with regards to coloring, knots, grain, markings - all frames will be unique but will compliment each other to form a cohesive and stunning frame collage. We go to great lengths to produce very consistent products and know you will be very happy with the finished frames as our cherished customers will testify to in our reviews. Each frame is unique and not mass produced.
